I love photographing people, especially the intimacy of the portrait. My mission is to reveal and illuminate something about the spirit of the subject I'm photographing. Sometimes having them in an environment where they thrive brings it out, and hopefully our interaction brings to light a special moment in time when the photo was snapped.
I have always viewed travel as the great exploration of mind, body and soul. It's this miracle that we can jump on a plane or in a car or train or by foot or horseback and go to places we have never seen before. Meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. It has been a big part of my life. There is a romance about it that you have with all that your senses take in.
Your image in the professional, business world is vital to your brand.
Do you need environmental portraits, headshot, or an image of yourself or business that attracts clients and employers.
What an honor it has been to photograph for The Wounded Warrior Project. These men and women are all making their way back to the world with physical and mental injuries sustained while in combat. They have taken on new challenges and the success of their stories has inspired me.
Fashion is fun. It's a costume created by artists so you can throw it on your body and say, "This says a little something about me, how I feel today." These days, it's really anything goes, or I want to be colorful, or blend in with the crowd, or I gotta be me! I love capturing the glamour and attitude fashion exudes. It's just fun.
You can have the same house but inside the choices of innerspace are fascinating. I love the architecture, design and interiors of homes.
I'm dog crazy, fond of kitty cats too, and fascinated by the animal kingdom. "They remind us that life is right now."
I get a big kick out of photographing kids. Let's face it, they are cute and unpredictable.
